Orientation includes employee data gathering via HRIS or manual new hire paperwork including: - Benefits orientation - Culture Orientation - Sexual Harassment & Hostile Work Environment - Code of Ethics – Code of Conduct – Ethics Reporting Hotline - Non-Disclosure & Confidentiality Agreements Onboarding conveys your organizational brand and values, explains your people and professional culture, aligns institutional expectations and performance and provides the tools for the employee to successfully assimilate into his or her position with a quicker ramp-up to productivity. - What impression do you want new hires to walk away with at the end of the first day? - What do new employees need to know about the culture and work environment? - What role will HR play in the process?
